  1. I bought this for my grandson, 3 years of age, without knowing about the tv program. He moved to another state recently, and was telling his Mom about it. I just ordered one to send to him. I ordered the first issue, which sounds delightful! I will write another review when my daughter watches this with him.

Hamtaro! He is the cutest little guy who loves to help others! There’s a bit of a moral to the Hamtaro videos and they are always into helping someone, somewhere do something! I think the videos (episodes) get better as they go along..and some are really emotional but teach something great at the same time! The first one is a must have since it introduces you to the characters best. None of the Hamtaro cartoons are over-done or flashy like most modern cartoons and they really start to grow on you (I’m 31 and I just love Hamtaro!)…my kids adore these videos (and they’re 7 and 9)…a definite MUST HAVE collection! Get them all! (Now if only they sold more!!)

These little guys really grow on you. I’m 20 and love the show. This volume features three great episodes, two of which end in reunions of long-lost friends and relatives. Truly heart warming. In the first, Laura’s grandmother is reunited with her child hood friend after more than 60 years. The second one is great for developing Sandy’s character and establishes her romantic interest in Maxwell. The third introduces the ever-popular performer Ham-Ham, Stan, to the show. He finally gets reunited with his long-lost twin sister, Sandy. Truly one of the best of the six volumes.
