This is the only exercise equipment I own that I had stayed with for a daily exercise routine, mostly because it is easy to use and causes me no pain. I’m pre-diabetic and my treadmill was causing me foot and back pain. I am obese meaning exercise is difficult.

The machine is quiet, not a noise at all except slight motor noise as the incline changes. The movement is super smooth like gliding on air. I didn’t think I’d use the programs but have been varying between the Weight Loss and the Heat Beat programs. I am more than happy about this. The chest heart monitor gives me constant feed back so I can control how fast or slow I should be going. The moving upper body handles are easy to move and lock out of the way for just leg work. After only 3 weeks I’ve lost 5 pounds and it’s been easy. I never got these results on my treadmill even using incline. I’m already keeping a steady heart beat within target using a good incline and good resistance. I love it when the program screen writes “slow down” when on the Heat Beat program. I’m not wearing myself out but getting a good consistent workout.

I did pay an installer to put it together. It was delivered as “threshold” service which means they put it in my garage (ground level delivery only). The installer brought it up 3 steps, put it together and made sure I understood how to use it. This service was very, very expensive, and charges depend on how close you live to the installer. I could not have gotten it into the house by myself so had no choice. The box weight was as stated 290lbs and was a long box, difficult for the one installer to handle but he did it. If not for the steps and moving the equipment, I could have done the install myself, with the help of one other person. There are times you need more than two hands for the install. The equipment goes together easily with two people and the Precor instructions.

I never thought I would pay this much for a piece of exercise equipment but am so glad I did. I have no foot pain or back pain now using this and losing weight. About all I got was some shaky leg muscles until I got my body used to exercise again. Operation of all the features is easy. I highly recommend this especially the models with programs!
